Do you have a stream that runs near your home that you’d like to get to know a little better?  The Catskill Creek Watershed Awareness Project invites you to become a Stream Spotter to help us gather information about our streams!  The Stream Spotter program is an easy, simple and interesting opportunity for people to learn about streams in an effort to increase our knowledge about the Catskill Creek watershed.  This session will provide an introduction to the Stream Spotters program and a training on collecting water quality samples on the Bowery Creek in the Siuslaw Model Forest.  This program is funded, in part, by the NYS DEC Hudson River Estuary Program and the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission.
